What You'll Do
- 1Build pipelines that pull data from many sources and formats, transform it and load it to the target database
- 2Run ETL/ELT processes with tools like Airflow, Glue and Cloud Data Fusion
- 3Design data lakes, warehouses and marts on AWS, GCP or Azure
- 4Write and optimise SQL queries and tune database performance
- 5Write Python for pipeline orchestration
- 6Work directly with customers on their data engineering needs
What We're Looking For
- 1 to 2 years on data engineering projects for Data Engineer I, 2 to 5 years for Data Engineer II
- 1 to 5 years of hands-on Python with solid algorithms and data structures
- Strong grasp of ETL, ELT, data lake, data warehousing and pipeline concepts
- Advanced SQL including window functions and joins
- Big data experience with PySpark or Hadoop, and cloud work on AWS, GCP or Azure
